Amy's Family Tree

I am a seventh-generation North Carolinian. North Carolina
Both of my grandmothers and my mother did extensive research on their family histories.

"What's your name? Who's your daddy? Is he rich like me?
Has he taken any time to show you what it means to live?
Tell it to me slowly. Tell me what I really want to know.
It's the time of the season for loving."

"Throughout this book on the Kerley-Warlick Genealogy and Family History I have used material from a large collection of my mother, Lois Kerley Jones, and I have given her credit for it. Since I did not do this particular research, I have relied on its content for accuracy."

Me, too.

NOTE: About a bazillion people have written to me: sending me info, asking for
clarification about info on this website, seeking clues about their own ancestors, etc.
I apologize for not answering promptly!
But I do plan to examine carefully all the wonderful stuff y'all have sent me and
see if I can come up with answers to your questions, and include here those branches
that connect to my tree. I promise to respond to your queries when I've found some
answers for you. I've recently purchased an updated version of Family Tree Maker
(which is very good software, by the way) and plan to get busy with it this winter.
Understand that I am not a professional genealogist. This is just one of my many interests
and I've been doing other things for the past year, including finding (and moving to) a
newly purchased place out in the country, with plenty of room for a nice vegetable garden.
Thanks for your patience and your understanding.
