Slip softly into the night.
Crystal prisms will lead you
Through the unopened doors
Of smoky horizons where I wait
Unperturbed,
With silent dewdrops tracing patterns of love
On my cheeks.

[ I stand peacefully.
. The breeze of loneliness
. Lifts my twisted hair on my head,
. Then quietly blows it shadows of creativity
. Towards the path you so patiently walk.
. I wait.
. I will be here forever.
. Forever until the harsh winter night
. Lowers its cloak of desperation
. Onto my tired soul. ]

I will melt and fade,
Just as thoughts do.
Until that time,
I wait because the wonder of love
Holds some strange bond
That keeps my heart and bids it stay.
Tears are my pathway into forever.
I wait.
