About BreabadairCat

I received this from James Yardley,
Librarian at Central Library in Cambridge, England:

Not quite! Breabadair cat is pronounced like "braypatr caht"
and would literally mean "weaver cat" or "kicker cat"
(presumably weavers are kickers since the traditional looms
were powered by foot treadles). Breab is "a kick".
The usual Gaelic word for the Web or Net is li\on (with a grave accent
on the i), pronounced to rhyme with "paean" and meaning literally a
"net" as used in fishing. WebCatt would have to be translated as
"cat an li\on", pronounced "caht un lean" and meaning
"the cat of the net".
